Fundraising for community upliftment.​

de pakhuys support the fundraising efforts of RAD, a non profit organization with the aim of improving the living conditions and infrastructure available to the local community.
The annual Rockstock event hosted by de Pakhuys, help raise money for the funding of a community hall for the benefit of all residents in the valley
Rocklands Rangers​
Bouldering Club

This project aims to provide the younger generation of residents on De Pakhuys Guest Farm and learners from Elizabethsfontein Primary, with a year-round, weekly leisure activity: climbing.
Although this leisure activity is beneficial to a child’s development in its own right, the richness of the Rocklands Rangers Project will come from the added elements that the climbing will facilitate.
The weekly regularity of this activity and the close rapport that will ensue between the team leaders and the individuals within the team will facilitate the introduction of extra-curricular and educational elements, for instance, sexual education, alcohol awareness, English Language and Literacy to name but a few.
